Ask Me Anything (AMA): What questions do you have for me?
Trying something new here! I’ve been receiving more messages lately via email, Twitter, and the Sloww Society community asking questions about my personal journey, experiences, perspectives, solopreneurship, synthesizing, and more. So, I figured I’d officially open it up. Is there a question you’ve always wanted to ask me? Or, if you’re new here, something you’re simply curious about? Respond to this email with your question(s), and I’ll answer all of them in next week’s email.

๐งญ Deeper Purpose
Resetting Perspective in Life
I first discovered many of the brain-bending numbers below in 2015-16 when I was deeply searching for life purpose. The paradox I found was that understanding my insignificance helped free me from fear to do something significant. Funny how life works!

Learning How to Learn
There’s never been a better time to be a self-directed, lifelong learner. Lately, I’ve been on a deep dive to learn about learning. And yes, I’m now reading textbooks (for fun). The last 7+ years of my life make so much more sense in the contexts of “transformative learning” and “interdisciplinary studies.”

โฏ๏ธ Timeless Wisdom
Revisiting the Headless Way
Iโve been thinking about On Having No Head by Douglas Harding (Book Summary) and Richard Lang’s ongoing work with “the headless way” almost daily ever since I highlighted them in ๐Sloww Sunday #122. It’s a novel approach to nonduality that I haven’t encountered before. Since then, I’ve been venturing down the rabbit hole of related YouTube videos. If you’re interested, check out:
- “The Man with No Head” is a short documentary about Douglas Harding’s life.
- The Melbourne Talk (1991) is Douglas Harding in his own words.
- “The Hierarchy of Heaven & Earth” is led by Richard Lang and a bit more advanced.
“I had some terrible problems with ‘Douglas.’ Very helpful those terrible problems were because they made me ask a crucial question: what am I here in my own experience?” โ Douglas Harding
